What is a guardian? A guardian is a person who takes responsibility for one of our breeding dogs in exchange for owning that dog in the future. You might call it 'sweat equity' to gain a fabulous pet instead of opening your wallet. RESPONSIBILITIES A guardian must live with the Okanagan BC. This would include Vernon, Armstrong [preferred areas] or Kelowna to Salmon Arm. A guardian must keep this dog fed, groomed and cared for up to Gemstone standards. A guardian must allow us to have access to the dog whenever the dog is required for breeding purposes or to show as the parent of one of the litters. Privileges A guardian will have sole ownership of the most amazing dog when he/she is finished his breeding career. |
