b) What do I feed my puppy?
Our Gemstone puppies have been raised on the raw food diet. This diet is not as
popular in North America, but is very important in Australia were these dogs come
from.  Many vets are not comfortable with this diet, but it is the most natural way to
feed your dog. For the ultimate information on this subject read
"GIVE YOUR DOG A BONE" by Dr Ian Billinghurst.
c)What is the best way to toilet train my puppy?
Crate training is a very successful way to train your puppy. Puppies do not like to mess
in their beds. This is an endless round robin of 1)sleeping in crate, 2)going outside and
3)coming inside for a short time to socialize with the family and back to step 1. As
your puppy grows the time outside the crate increases. Remember to take your puppy
outside after every meal. Do not free feed as this makes it harder to train your puppy.
